How this differs from the usual online merger
Most "free PDF merger" sites upload your file to their servers, process it there, and hand back a download link. That means your bank statement, your CNIC scan or your contract has sat on somebody else's machine — governed by a privacy policy you did not read, for a retention period you cannot verify.
This page loads a PDF library into your browser and does the work locally. There is no upload step because there is nowhere to upload to. You can open your browser's network inspector and watch: after the page loads, nothing further is sent.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a file size limit?
No limit is imposed by us, because there is no server involved. The real constraint is your device's memory — each document is held in RAM during the merge. A phone with little free memory may struggle with several large scanned files at once; a laptop rarely will.
Will the merged file lose quality?
No. Pages are copied across unchanged, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. If you need the result to be smaller, run it through the PDF compressor afterwards.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not while they are encrypted. Open the file in your PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, then merge that. This is a deliberate limitation — a tool that stripped passwords automatically would be a tool for opening documents you may not own.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Tap the drop area to open your file picker and choose your PDFs. Reordering uses buttons rather than drag-and-drop precisely so it works on touch screens.
