Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you use this website. The short version: the calculators and file tools do their work inside your own browser, so the figures and files you put into them are never sent to us and we never see them.

What we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect:

These items are processed by JavaScript running on your device. They are not transmitted to any server, which is why every tool on this site continues to work if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools by watching the network tab while you use a tool.

Information stored on your device

The salary slip generator offers to remember your employer details so you do not have to retype them. If you use that option, the details are written to your browser's local storage on that device only. They are never transmitted. You can delete them at any time with the "Forget them" button on that page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the hosting provider that serves these pages records standard technical request information — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads.

Advertising is served in areas clearly marked "Advertisement" and separated from the tools themselves. Nothing you type into a calculator or load into a file tool is passed to any advertiser — it never leaves your browser in the first place.

Analytics

If analytics are in use on this site, they measure aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited and from where — and never receive the contents of any calculator field or file.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information through the tools, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete on request. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights, such as the EU or the UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA, those rights apply to whatever limited data exists — which in practice means server logs and any email you have sent.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
