Pakistani tax calculators that show their working, and file utilities that never take possession of your files.

Why it exists

Search for "income tax calculator Pakistan" and you will find plenty of results. A surprising number of them are still running last year's slabs, or the year before's, with no indication of which Finance Act they implement. For a number that determines what lands in your bank account, that is not good enough.

This site takes the opposite approach. Every rate lives in a single data file with its source and verification date recorded alongside it. Every calculator reads from that one file, so no two pages can quietly disagree. And every result is shown band by band, so you can check the arithmetic rather than trust it.

Where the numbers come from

• Income tax slabs — the First Schedule to the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, as amended by the Finance Act 2026, which was gazetted on 26 June 2026 and took effect on 1 July 2026.
• IT export rates — section 154A of the Ordinance, together with the concessionary rate available to exporters registered with the Pakistan Software Export Board.
• Sales tax — the Sales Tax Act 1990 for goods, and the respective provincial services acts administered by PRA, SRB, KPRA and BRA.

Before shipping, each figure is cross-checked against at least two independent published summaries. The slab tables carry an internal consistency check as well: each band's fixed amount must equal the cumulative tax at the end of the band below it. A typo in a rate or a threshold breaks that identity, and an automated test catches it.

What we are not

We are not tax advisers, and nothing here is advice. A calculator cannot know about your tax credits, your exempt allowances, your prior-year adjustments, or the particular facts that make your situation yours. Treat these tools as a fast, well-sourced first estimate — then confirm with FBR or a registered practitioner before you file or make a decision.

The file tools

The image and PDF utilities exist because the same need keeps recurring — a form that will not accept anything over 100KB, a set of documents that must be one file, a scan too large to email — and because the usual answer involves uploading personal documents to an unknown server.

These run on your device instead, using the canvas API and a PDF library served from this site. There is no upload endpoint. They keep working with your connection switched off, which is the simplest demonstration of the claim.

How the site is funded

If a rate here is wrong, we want to know immediately — that is the one failure mode this site cannot tolerate. Please get in touch with the figure you believe is incorrect and the source you are relying on, and it will be checked and fixed.
